Instructions
Pat halibut fillets dry and season generously with salt and pepper.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat until shimmering.
Sear halibut for 3–4 minutes per side, until golden and cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
Lower the heat, melt butter in the same skillet, and stir in garlic, lemon juice, and zest. Cook for 1 minute.
Spoon lemon-butter sauce over halibut, garnish with parsley, and serve immediately.
