Ingredients

  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • ¼ cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon prepared horseradish
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Seasonings
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon kosher salt
  • ½ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper optional
  • Optional Adjustments
  • 1 teaspoon sugar for slight sweetness
  • Extra vinegar for more tang
  • Extra black pepper for stronger bite

Instructions
 

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, and lemon juice until smooth
  • Add horseradish and Dijon mustard; whisk until fully combined
  • Stir in black pepper, salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and optional cayenne
  • Taste and adjust seasoning as needed
  • Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving

Notes

Use full-fat mayonnaise for best texture
Chill before serving to allow flavors to meld
Add vinegar gradually to control tang
Keep cold when serving for optimal flavor
