Keto Taco Pie – Low Carb & Gluten-Free

This Crustless Taco Pie is rich, cheesy, and packed with bold taco flavor — without the carbs or crust. A quick, family-friendly keto dinner that’s perfect for busy weeknights or meal prep!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb ground beef or ground turkey
  • 1 tbsp olive oil if needed
  • 2 tbsp sugar-free taco seasoning
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • ½ cup chopped bell pepper optional
  • ¾ cup heavy cream
  • 3 large eggs
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • ½ cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9-inch pie dish.
  • In a skillet, cook ground beef until browned. Drain excess fat.
  • Add onion, bell pepper, and taco seasoning. Stir and cook for 2–3 minutes.
  • Spread the meat mixture evenly in the pie dish.
  • In a bowl, whisk together eggs, heavy cream, salt, and pepper.
  • Pour over the meat, then top with cheddar and mozzarella.
  • Bake for 25–30 minutes, until golden and set.
  • Let cool for 5–10 minutes, then slice and top with your favorites.

Notes

Don’t overbake — the center should stay slightly soft.
Drain meat well to avoid extra grease.
Mix in cream cheese with the beef for a richer flavor.
For spice, add jalapeños or hot sauce to the mix.
Make it Southwest-style with green chilies and pepper jack cheese.
