cod fillets
5–6 oz each

mayonnaise or melted butter

garlic cloves
minced

tablespoon
lemon zest
1
tablespoon
fresh lemon juice

teaspoon
paprika
1
teaspoon
dried parsley
or 1 tablespoon fresh chopped parsley
1
teaspoon
salt
1
teaspoon
black pepper
Optional: 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan
Lemon wedges
for serving
Instructions
Pat cod fillets dry and season both sides lightly with salt and pepper.
Mix mayonnaise or butter, garlic, lemon zest, lemon juice, paprika, parsley, and optional Parmesan until smooth.
Spread the mixture evenly over the tops of the cod fillets.
Place on a lined baking sheet and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 12–15 minutes, or until fish flakes easily.
Squeeze fresh lemon juice on top before serving; add herbs if desired.
