Instructions
Add butterfly pea flowers or powder to hot water and steep for 5–7 minutes until deep blue
Strain the liquid if using whole flowers
Place salt in a wide bowl and slowly pour in the blue liquid, mixing until evenly coated
Spread the damp salt in a thin layer on a parchment-lined tray
Air-dry for 24 hours or oven-dry at the lowest temperature for 1–2 hours, stirring occasionally
Let cool completely and store in an airtight container
