Air Fryer Lamb Chops

Ingredients
  

  • 6 lamb chops rib or loin, 1–1½ inches thick
  • tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried rosemary or thyme
  • ½ teaspoon ground cumin optional
  • ½ teaspoon chili flakes optional
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice optional
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard optional
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic optional

Instructions
 

  • Remove lamb chops from the refrigerator 20–30 minutes before cooking
  • Pat lamb chops dry with paper towels
  • Place lamb chops in a bowl
  • Add olive oil, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, rosemary, cumin, and chili flakes
  • Add lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic if using
  • Massage seasoning evenly into both sides of the chops
  • Preheat air fryer to 390°F (200°C) for 3–5 minutes
  • Arrange lamb chops in a single layer in the air fryer basket
  • Cook for 4–5 minutes
  • Flip lamb chops
  • Cook another 4–6 minutes until desired doneness
  • Remove from air fryer and rest for 5 minutes before serving

Notes

Medium-rare to medium gives the juiciest results
Do not overcrowd the air fryer basket
Use a meat thermometer for accuracy
Resting the meat keeps lamb tender and juicy
Best served immediately for optimal texture
